The boys' golf team ended up second in the conference this year behind Rush City. We had a very strong year and only missed first place by 4 points. Luke M. and Justin G. both were named All-Conference players this year, while Ryan G. was named the conference MVP. I am very proud of all of our boys and had how hard they have work to get where we are. With only one senior on the boys' team this year, I am excited to for these boys to have another shot at the conference title next year. Now we are focused on the subsection meet that we have coming up, and trying to make our season last as long as we can.
The girls' golf team ended up second in the conference this year behind Moose Lake/Willow River. We had a very strong year and only missed first place by 3 points. We had 3 girls who were named All-conference. they were Anna M., Lindsay M., and Ally T. I am very proud of all of our girls and had how hard they have work to get where we are. We are losing 3 seniors on the girls' team and will be tough to replace, but we have some good young golfers who will need to step up and fill those places for us next year. But for now, we are putting all our focus on the subsection meet that we have coming up, and trying to make our season last as long as we can.

We were worried about not being able to get this meet in due to the seemingly endless rain that we got this week, but it cleared up enough for the JV/JH boys and girls to get out and play some golf. We as a coaching staff could not be happier with how well these young players have been playing the past few weeks which makes us excited to see what the future brings. We have one more JV/JH meet this year and we hope it will be our best meet yet.
We were very happy to be able to get this meet in. Sadly, we have had to cancel the last few JV/JH meets do to poor weather.
The scores that our golfers turned in reflected well on what we as coaches have seen at practice day after day, and that is that our younger golfers have been showing great improvement through out the season. We have two more JV/JH meets this year and are excited to see how much more we can improve in that time. We sent two, two person teams to this scramble. Anna M. was partnered with her sister Lindsay M. and together they shot a 86. The other team was made up of Emily G. and Katie M. who shot a respectable 107.
